About Us Our desire is to be a church who is focused on the Kingdom of God...to be a place where people can hear the good news of Jesus Christ and find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement.  We endeavor to be a church where people can start a personal relationship with Jesus...a place where people can grow in that relationship, establish friendships with other Christians, and together worship God. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and support SBC causes through our Cooperative Giving and our special offerings--Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (supports North American Mission Board), Lottie Moon Christmas Offering (supports International Mission Board), Silver State Mission Offering (Nevada State Missions), and World Hunger (world wide hunger funds). Currently we are meeting in the home of our Pastor. Jesse Blanco and his family are gracious hosts until we find a permanent place to meet. We pray for God's guidance in finding this permanent home for New Life Baptist Church, but until that time the Blanco family has opened their home to us. |
